Logic – Track Time #
Description #
Tracks the time it takes for the end user to complete a task or step.
The Track Time action will calculate the time spent on the timeline (i.e. Step) that this action is a part of.
To track the time of a task or step that is defined across multiple timelines, use the Get Time Duration action.
Properties #
Start Time
The time (in seconds) when the action will activate.
Leave at 0 to calculate the entire time that the timeline (i.e. Step) takes to complete. Or set a different Start Time to create an offset (i.e. a start time of 20 seconds, will result in a Track Time value that is 20 seconds less than the total time it takes to complete the timeline).
The Start Time is relative to the timeline in which the action occurs (not the absolute time from when the experience starts).
Variable Name
The variable to which the Track Time result will be stored. Can be a new variable or used to overwrite an existing variable.
Storing the Track Time result to a variable creates a record in the training data that can be referenced later or reported out to 3rd party tools.
