iQ3Connect Product Release – 13 January 2022 has the following enhancements and bug fixes

Usability Enhancements

• Unzipping processes can now be monitored in the Dashboard Activities
• Security updates
• Improvements to Model Loading in the Workspace
• Added options to align Move/Rotate Coordinate Axis to Model/World/Normal.

Bug Fixes

All issues below are now resolved:

• Loading the same VR model twice results in black screen
• Meeting errors result in black screen
• Cache generation fails for unzipped files
• Slow transformation of models during Scene load
• Move and Rotate from Model Tree causes a screen freeze and/or fails to operate
• Reset selected volumes is not working for non-presenters
• 2D mouse movement is lagging
• Loss of WebGL context with large models
• While following a user, incorrect messages are generated.

Bug Fixes

All issues below are now resolved:

• File upload to the Dashboard is freezing
• Triangle count increases arbitrarily when loading multiple models into the workspace
• Texture count increases when reloading the same model into the workspace
• Animations not correctly loaded when using multiple .glb files
• Updated names for .glb and .glft files not properly showing when loaded into the workspace
• Files disappearing or duplicating when sorting lists in the Dashboard
• Newly created user accounts appear to be inactive even when logged in
• Clip plane color inconsistency when model is exploded
• Folder structure migration issue
• Progress bar for model loading appears to freeze
• Logo not updating

Major Productivity Enhancements

Enhanced Collaboration with Screen Sharing: iQ3Connect now allows non-presenters to share their view with the Workspace participants. Previously, this capability was limited only to the Presenter and required a user to be granted full presenter control in order to share. 

Additional Usability Enhancements

• Show a warning prompt if the cache generation process would overwrite an existing model
• Enable sorting of groups and menus on the Dashboard
• Additional sorting options (time, type, and created by) for Template Meetings

Bug Fixes

All issues below are now resolved:

• Move and rotate distance/angles are doubled when using the VR Model Tree
• Move and rotate not working from the group list
• Reset move and rotation on groups and subassemblies not working
• Clip plane moves after moving a volume
• Presenter hands are static in Follow Presenter mode
• Service name is not saved in the installer
• Models not positioned correctly when loading a scene
• Scenes and Model States are no longer functional after model is re-cached

Major Productivity Enhancements

Visualization of Large Point Cloud Models on any Device: iQ3Connect now supports the visualization of and interaction with large point cloud models on any device. A dynamic point cloud point limiter intelligently increases or decreases the resolution of various sections of the point cloud depending upon the viewer’s position and orientation to ensure that even lower-end devices can view models with billions of points at the highest resolutions.

Dashboard Analytics: Easily monitor and analyze iQ3 usage statistics via connection to data visualization tools.
Animation Support: Animations saved as .gltf files can now be played in the iQ3Connect Workspace

Additional Usability Enhancements

• Optimized support for Valve Index force grip sensor

Bug Fixes

All issues below are now resolved:

● iQ3 Workspace Floor settings are not maintained when loading a new model
● iQ3 Workspace Floor settings not properly loaded from a Scene
● Reset Selected inconsistency
